Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. He blends soul gospel jazz with R&B for a distinctive blend. The singer has worked everywhere from Broadway to the Democratic National Convention to the European club and festival scenes. Sunshine's title is Denise White. She is now a resident of Atlanta her birthplace was Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical experience began at the church where she sang and played piano. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on the Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single with her vocals was Stalk You A house 12 released exclusively in Japan It has been remixed since by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay in her live show. She also lent her voice to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. The band was hired as the principal keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice, asked Sunshine to join the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained attention during the four daily performances during the The 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
