Born on the 25th of November, 1968 Jillian Shennessy was a active Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her notable contribution in American television. She is renowned for her stellar performances in the American television show Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan in which she played protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also demonstrated her talents as an actor in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class in which she worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. The acting career of Hennessy began in 1988 when she along with her sister played twin characters in Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she appeared as the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. The big break came after the season ended after she was tapped as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. In this role she entertained viewers for three years until 1996. Parker appeared in film and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America and Red Fried Green Tomatoes. For these, she received the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker received the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress in the Broadway Show Proof.
